Mother's Day. A day to celebrate the person that raised us. Whether she birthed us or choose to raise us as her own, today is the day we celebrate her choice to bring us into this world.

This can be a day of appreciation and love and care for someone that has held us in life and supported us to grow and flourish.

Mothers day can also challenge many that have lost their mothers or have never even met their mothers or would like to be mothers but cannot and like many of these special days Mothers Day can highlight many challenges.

On this day take a moment to celebrate those that have nurtured, supported and loved us and those that have also provided us with support in many other ways.

Being a Mother is a unique and deeply supportive role. The key to remember is that Mum is a woman first before she is in a role as a Mother. When we remember this we respect and love the person first and then they feel seen and appreciated for who they are first as well as what they do.

Mothers Day. A day to celebrate women, those that have offered us true mothering and the nurturing role they play in supporting us all to grow and thrive.
