Completing the day is so important, isn’t it? Because if we don’t complete the day we take it into the night, into our sleep and consequently feel tired and rundown the next day.
What stops you from completing the day?
The days are massive and the workload is huge. The projects are multiple and the to-do list is longer than the arm, right?
For me it all never ends but as the day closes the sense of completion begins.
What will be done is done and that feels complete. 🫡What will move to the next does so without concern.
Detachment is key and connection remains. Or else sleepless nights and burdens are a guarantee 🧐
Feeling tired? Cant sleep? Cant stop going around in your head with the last days workoad and tomorrows meetings?
What is it we are needing to CHANGE when it comes to completing?
Everything we do has a cycle within it. A cycle of completion. From beginning to end. A day, a conversation, a piece of writing, a project or even a relationship.
What if completing the item is not ‘finishing’ as such but more about knowing when to pause. Not so much a withdrawal but more a knowing when to let go and knowing when to breathe.

A busy mind can carry the energy of the day long after it’s over. Consciously slow down. Take a deep breath and release the need to keep going. The day is done. ☑️
3. Make a Prioritised List
Write down lingering tasks and organise them by priority. Getting them out of your mind and onto paper helps you mentally close the loop and start fresh tomorrow.
4. Create Order and Flow
A tidy space leads to a tidy mind. Bring order to your environment—whether it’s your workspace, home, or thoughts. When things are in place, it’s easier to unwind.
5. Align with the Bigger Picture
Remind yourself of what truly matters. Not everything is urgent, and not everything needs to be perfect. Focus on what aligns with your values and long-term purpose.
6. Delegate and Let Go
You don’t have to do it all. Pass things on, ask for help, and trust that things will unfold as they need to. Letting go of control creates space for ease and flow.
