Setting Intentions for the Health of The Well-Being in the Workplace
The Well-Being is the person that consistently walks their talk. They feel steady, focussed and inspired. They also live with genuine care and consideration for themselves and others and can hold the team together as One.
3 Simple Ways to Set Intentions for Your Team and Organisational Well-Being:
1. Create a Clear Vision Statement for Wellness within your Organisation
Develop a concise, inspiring wellness vision that aligns with your organisation’s values and goals.
What makes your team tick? What are the underpinning values of the team?
Share this vision widely to set the tone for a well-being-focused culture.
Most of all, model this vision and represent your team in all that you do.
2. Incorporate Well-Being into Daily Operations
Intentionally integrate the quality of The Well-Being into team meetings, schedules, and communication by prioritising values, check-ins, supporting your team to take care of their bodies which includes, encouraging breaks, eating lightly, staying connected and promoting work-life balance. Begin with the foundations and go from there.
3. Set responsive standards for Wellness Initiatives
What are your team's standards? Responsibility, accountability and care all go hand in hand when it comes to a healthy team. Define specific, achievable objectives for staff well-being programs, such as increasing participation in clear communication, collaboration, team building, mental health workshops and or reducing workplace stress levels, and regularly assess their impact on the team.
When it comes to The Well Being in the workplace, it is important to embrace change. Support each other to rise and shine together.
If we set the scene for a healthy environment and LIVE THE VISION at work we all want to see... your team will feel inspired to work together with YOU with integrity and a unified purpose.
